How TO: WEAR BOLD EYES FOR THE SUMMER

Where are all those bold colors coming from?!

In addition to our bronzy looks, we now also love a fun pop of color. Being a girl that usually likes to stick to her neutrals I felt like it was time to switch things up. Where better to start then with a fun pop of color on the eyes?! As it turns out....I love it!

To make the trend work for you, pick a bright and fun color. Lilac, yellow, shades of blue, reds and greens are especially trendy this season.

Nobody want's just a wash of color, to make sure that the color pops, opt for a creamy shadow with intense pigmentation!

While a matt complexion is beautiful for the colder months, I would go for glowing skin for this look. A nice glow on the highpoints of your face and a fresh complexion compliment the bold eye look perfectly and makes everything look summery.

Since the eyes are the stars of the show and we want to avoid an unpleasant 80's look, stick to neutral lips. I like to opt for a clear gloss or even Vaseline to give my lips the perfect shine.

Now the cherry on top: If you really want to accentuate your eyes, apply a gloss or Vaseline on top of your shadow. The sheen looks beautiful in the sunlight and is especially flattering in pictures!
