At the tips of your fingers: My favorite polishes for the summer

Guys...who else is hot and bothered by the rising temperatures?! While I love a sunny summer day, the past few weeks had me feeling more crispy rather than sun kissed...anyways...let's talk about our nails!

Besides renewing my wardrobe and the skin on my shoulders, I have also been experimenting with some fun nail colors and think that I figured out some of my favorites for this summer...aaand for every day of the year...if you want to. 

 

Let's start off with a staple... the perfect nude shade!

What can I say, it is...and quite possibly, will always be my favorite nail color. I think that opting for a neutral color that almost seemingly blends into your skin can give you so much freedom when it comes to picking your outfit. One too many times I had to change into something that less colorful because it clashed with my bright polish and I could not bring up the nerve to repaint those nails.

Because I clearly like my options when it comes to outfits, I like to choose a nude if I plan on wearing the same color for a few days in a row or have lots of events and appointments that require frequent outfit changes.  Yo Soy by Wet n Wild

Okay, now for the fun stuff! Let me tell you, if a metallic bright pink does not make you feel like you can conquer the world then I don't know what will!
In the last couple of months I have developed a deep love for all things baby pink! What else would compliment millennial pink better than some hot pink nails?! Weather your nails are the focal point of your outfit or just a fun addition to the colorful mix, you can't go wrong. Hotter than you Pink by O.P.I

 

 

Time to cool down! With an icy baby blue polish your finger tips will stay (looking) cool...get it?! Anyways... to me baby blue is such a soft color that can be paired with so many other colors while spicing up your look. Now my favorite, favorite summer polish... a juicy red based orange color!

Hot temperatures call for fiery colors. If you usually like to stick to save colors, oranges are a perfect option for you! Think of it as reds sassy sister, there are so many shades and undertones to chose from and they can all elevate your look tremendously! I find that oranges make me feel energized, creative and super motivated.
